Weather-Proof and ready for anything: Frinton 188 has a sash window and stable doors so you can close it up and stay cosy, if the weather turns, or open the doors and window wide to soak up the sun when it’s bright and beautiful. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the beach, no matter what the weather’s doing.
Dog Friendly (of course)

Bring your pooch! We welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs, and the hut sits on the dog-friendly stretch of the beach (no restrictions!). Water bowl, dog biccies and spare poop bags are all in the hut and a handy dog tether point on the front of the beach hut.

What a stylish and trendy hut!! We had a fabulous day at Frinton 188, its in the most perfect location right in front of the steps down to the beach, close to the toilets, free parking and water tap. Rain or shine this hut has everything you could need from buckets and spades to board games and binoculars. It was immaculately clean and well maintained with lovely kitchen area with a fully working sink and hob top to the perfect seating area and comfy deck chairs. Frinton Beach
A golden sandy stretch of beach, a mile-long promenade lined with charming beach huts — what's not to love? Frinton is made for sea swimming, sandcastle building, and long, leisurely beach walks, just to name a few. It’s seaside perfection, plain and simple.

Beach Hut Parking
Parking is free along the greensward which is about 200 metres from the beach hut. The postcode CO13 9EQ will take you to the closest location to park, You will see a gate and a path on the greensward that leads to the beach.

Loos
The Kiosk pubic loo block is open from April and is a 2 minute walk away by the golf course. If this loo isn't open the loos at the bottom of Connaught Avenue (about a 5 minute walk will be, there is a 25p charge for these ones but they are lovely and clean)
Water
There is no running water at the beach hut. There are two taps less than 1 minute away and a water carrier in the beach hut. The water tap is turned off from October through to the Easter weekend so it's best to bring your own water during is time.
Accessibilty
There's a path that leads to the promenade from the Greensward parking area (approx 200 metres). There is small step into the beach hut (approx 20cm). To access the beach from the promenade there are steps down to the beach approx 6. the adjacent beach section has a ramp (approx 10 meters from the beach hut)
Cancellation policy
Q: What happens if I need to cancel or amend my beach hut booking?

Free cancellation or date change up to 7 full days before your hire.

Cancellations within 7 full days incur a £45 admin fee per hire day.

NO cancellations or refunds within 48 hours of your hire day.
In exceptional circumstances (e.g., extreme weather), we may offer alternative dates at our discretion, typically outside of peak season (July–August) and weekend dates.
