Weather-Proof and ready for anything: Frinton 343 has a fold back window and stable doors so you can close it up and stay cosy, if the weather turns, or open the doors and window wide to soak up the sun when it’s bright and beautiful. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy the beach, no matter what the weather’s doing.
Dog Friendly

Bring your furry crew members, the beach hut is dog friendly (Max 2 well behaved dogs). Dog Bowl, biccies, spare poop bags in the beach hut and a handy dog tether point on the front of the beach hut.

A heads up: dogs aren't allowed on the stretch of beach directly in front of this beach hut from 1st May to the 30th Sept. They are welcome on the promenade or the nearby dog friendly section (just a minutes walk away) if you want to take them on the beach. Practical Information and Amenities
Frinton Beach
A golden sandy stretch of beach with a mile long promenade lined with beach huts, what's not to like? Frinton is great for sea swimming, sandcastle building and long beach walks to name a but a few activities. It is literally seaside perfection.

Beach Hut Parking
Parking is free along the greensward which is about 100 metres from the beach hut. The postcode CO13 9DN will take you to the closest location to park, which is where The Esplanade loo block is located (about a one minute walk from the beach hut).

Loos
Loos, there are loos 1 minute walk away at the top of the zig zag path at the bottom of Connaught Avenue. You will need 25p as there is a charge but they are lovely and clean as a result. They are open all year (except Christmas Day) 8.30 to 6pm on Boxing Day and New Years Day they close at 4pm.
Water
There is no running water at the beach hut. There are two taps less than 1 minute away and a water carrier in the beach hut. The Council turn off the tap October to April so we recommend you bring your own water during these months.
Accessibilty
There's a slopped ziz zag path that leads to the promenade from the Greensward. There are four concrete steps to the beach hut level from the promenade and three wooden steps to the beach hut door. To access the beach from the promenade there are steps down to the beach. Should you require wheelchair access Tendring Council have 2 Claction beach huts which are wheelchair accessible and can be rented. For more details contact Tendring Seafront team on 01255686702. Alternatively, we do have access to beach wheel chairs at our Mersea Island beach huts.
Cancellation policy
Q: What happens if I need to cancel or amend my beach hut booking?

Free cancellation or date change up to 7 full days before your hire.

Cancellations within 7 full days incur a £45 admin fee per hire day.

NO cancellations or refunds within 48 hours of your hire day.
In exceptional circumstances (e.g., extreme weather), we may offer alternative dates at our discretion, typically outside of peak season (July–August) and weekend dates.
