Our five beach huts in Frinton-on-Sea and Mersea are designed around everything that makes a great beach day. Just turn up, unpack and enjoy being by the sea.

I've always believed beach huts can be stylish as well as practical, and over the years my huts have featured on George Clarke's Amazing Spaces, in The Sunday Times Style and on GB News. Every hut is thoughtfully put together, with the comfort, space and little details that turn a good beach day into a great one.

After years of beach hut days, I've found it's usually the opposite.✨

The days I remember the most are the simple ones... a bacon sandwich outside, endless cups of teas and uninterrupted chats with friends... bliss!✨

I think that's what beach huts do best, they make you slow down and enjoy the simple things.

You might know what I do, but you probably don’t know why I do it...✨

It all started with a change of plans and one beach hut in Frinton in 2007. Nothing more than our family hut at the time.

Then I started changing it, styling it, sharing it and slowly it stopped just being ours. ✨

People started coming for beach hut days, coming back again and again, and loving them.

That one hut turned into five and somehow it became my full-time life.✨

I still style every hut myself. I’m usually the one replying to messages, fixing things and chatting on here and my lovely Disco is nearly always with me.

It still feels slightly mad that it all came from that one day.✨

Frinton 188 is our newest hut and the one where I've used everything I've learnt over 20 years of beach hut life and design to make it 👌🏼.

It’s all in the little details, the original style and the space maximising layout. It just works... I hope you love it as much as I do. ☀️

• Up to 8 people + dog friendly
• 9:30am–7pm and from £80
• On the all-year dog-friendly stretch of Frinton beach
• Right on the prom, just steps from the beach
• Modern kitchen area for snacks, cooking or multiple beach cuppas
• Beach games, board games, deckchairs + @sunnylife parasol
• Our signature L-shaped seating looking out over the beach
• Close to all the important stuff like parking, cafés and facilities
