👌🏼The perfect hut for laid back living, really calm and easy. We always pick front row and always a brilliant position.

One of my favourite things with this beach hut is the view and the long sandbar that emerges as the tide drops. Great for a wander along the water✨

Here’s what you need to know:👇🏼

• It's spacious enough for up to 8 people + dog friendly (up to 2)

• Stay: 9:30–7pm and price: from £80

• Deckchairs, @sunnylifeaustralia parasol, games, kitchen, you name it, all ready for you.

• Our signature L-shape seating keeps the sea front and centre, or grab a spot outside on the decking and chill out in the sun ☀️

• Kitchen all set up...tea, coffee, cook something up or whip up a beach picnic

• Close to everything, parking, loos, cafés and or deliveries to the hut available

• On Mersea Island, how often do you get your own island beach house?

Interior Design Masters is back and 👇🏼

Episode 1 was beach huts, so I couldn’t resist giving my take✨

The brief: take a British icon, the beach hut and design it in your signature style.

That is not as easy as it sounds. Small spaces like this can go very theme-y very quickly if you’re not careful.

I loved the mix of styles and creativity, proof that even a small space can still have a big impact.

Controversially, Teo was my style winner. 🏆

The simple white backdrop with blues and a pop of red felt subtle, coastal and just cool 👌🏼. The surfboard really worked as a statement piece. The map with the red “44” was a favourite detail too. I agree with Teo, the view should always be No.1

Could it have taken a few more pieces? Maybe...but not much.

It’s always the little things ✨

Books are one of my favourite ways to add character to the beach huts, but I like them to mean something too, not just look nice.

A mix of old favourites, a bit of nostalgia and one that ties back to where this all started.

👉🏻Most found on Vinted or eBay...always better a little worn.
